Cambie Corridor Phase 3: 2017 Open Houses and Coffee Chats

Published: June 20, 2016

The City of Vancouver held the first two 2017 Cambie Corridor Open Houses on June 16 and 17 at Oakridge Centre Auditorium. More than 590 people attended the first event. Both events had the same information and provided a chance to learn about and discuss the draft Plan directions and areas proposed for change, as well as the Oakridge Municipal Town Centre (MTC) area planning.

All information presented at the events is available at: Draft Plan Directions. Two surveys are available online until July 10: Areas Proposed for Change Survey and Draft Plan Directions Survey. Feedback gathered from these surveys will help shape the final, comprehensive Cambie Corridor Plan, which is aimed to be presented to City Council for consideration in late-fall 2017 or early 2018.

Due to the high level of interest in the first Open House and the draft Plan directions, a series of coffee chats will be held: Tuesday, June 27, 1:00pm – 4:00pm at Columbia Park, 5908 Alberta St.; Thursday, June 29, 4:00pm – 7:00pm at Columbia Park, 5908 Alberta St.; Wednesday, July 5, 1:00pm – 4:00pm at Peretz Centre, 6184 Ash St.; and Thursday, July 6, 4:00pm – 7:00pm at Peretz Centre, 6184 Ash St.

The coffee chats will be informal, drop-in sessions that provide opportunities to chat with a Planner about the draft Plan directions. Please note that the coffee chats will not have all of the Open House information boards on display. The Cambie Corridor Team looks forward to hearing from you.
