The Marpole BusinessAssociation (BIA) is excited to present the 15th annual Marpole Lion Dance Tour, in celebration of the Lunar New Year of the Snake in 2025.
Mark your calendars! The Lunar New Year Lion Tour will take place during Lunar New Year celebrations on Saturday, February 1st at 3:00 PM along Granville Street.
In partnership with Vancouver Chinese Lion Dance Group, the Lunar New Year Lion Tour will be an exciting cultural celebration for the Marpole commercial district and community.
As in previous years, the Lion will make its way south down the west side of Granville Street to 71st and then northwards along the eastside of the street, stopping to perform New Year blessings on many Marpole businesses.
