That spooky, scary time of year is once again upon us! The Marpole Business Association is pleased to present its 14th Annual Great Marpole Trick-or-Treat event to get you in a frightful mood.
Join your friendly, er, spooky Marpole merchants on Wednesday, October 31st between 4 – 5 PM on Granville Street between West 63rd and 71st Avenues. Participating merchants displaying the orange pumpkin decal will be giving out candies to kids in costume on Halloween after school. This leaves kids lots of time to spare to enjoy dinner at home before heading out in the neighborhood at nighttime.
This free, kid-friendly event is very popular, with hundreds of kids in costume roaming Granville Street in search of candies and treats. “Best event ever!” and “I love Halloween in Marpole” are just a few comments from satisfied 10-year olds.
Don’t forget to wear your costume, and bring along a friendly adult too. They’re welcome to dress up for the festivities as well. The more the merrier, er, spookier.
Happy Halloween!
