The Farmers on 57th is calling all urban farmers! It’s time to get your hands dirty and learn to grow your own food right in your own community.
Farmers on 57th are a non-profit urban farm located in Marpole, trying to grow their community of sustainably minded folk. If you’ve ever wanted to learn the art of gardening, or desired fresh, local produce to be delivered to your door, now’s your chance.
Grow Your Own Food Course
Registration is open for our 2026 Grow Your Own Food Course. Starting Tuesday April 7 or 14th, join professional educators for 12 biweekly instructional sessions from 6:30-8PM. Learn everything you need to know to get through a season of growing, from soil prep to seed starting to crop maintenance and harvesting!
Take the full course, or sign up for a few classes. Includes option to sign up for your own or communal garden plot to test out what you learn. All basic supplies are included. Learn more at https://www.farmerson57th.ca/gyof
Get a box of fresh veggies delivered right to your door
Urban Farm CSA registration is now open!! Interested in eating the freshest, most local veggies? Join our Community Supported Agriculture program! Our 1/2 acre urban farm provides fresh veggies to around 1000 people per year, and you could be one of them!
For less than $40 per week, you can get a bounty of seasonal veg, picked up right from our farm. All produce is grown using organic methods to bring you the most nutrient packed, delicious foods possible. Weekly or biweekly flower bouquets are also available.
