Fancy driving around your neighbourhood with a few newfound friends this summer?
The Marpole BIA is seeking 1-2 outgoing Marpolians for a cool summer project – HeyYa Marpole!
We’re partnering with HeyYa Carts to offer a free shuttle service in and around Marpole’s Granville Street commercial district on the Saturdays in July and August.
We’re looking for 1-2 outgoing individuals for this paid, seasonal contract opportunity who are available from 9 AM to 7 PM each Saturday to drive a street-legal electric HeyYa golf cart around an organized loop of Marpole highlights.
The loop will include Granville Street between West 62nd and West 71st Avenues, Joy Kogawa House, Marpole Neighbourhood House, DLG Elementary and individual stops within a set boundary.
Qualifications required:
- Drivers Licence and at least two years driving experience
- Outgoing and engaging personality
- Previous work experience
- English communication skills (additional languages are a bonus)
- Available on Saturdays in July and August
